Dr. F. Ejike Orji MBBS, FWACS, FICS graduated from the college of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus in 1982. He started his residency in surgery at UNTH Enugu in June 1985 and completed his training in the sub specialty of pediatric surgery in 1990. He is a fellow of The West African College of Surgeons, and was the first specialist pediatric surgeon trained by the college in Nigeria.

He is a fellow of the international college of surgeons. He was the first in house surgeon at the First Consultants Medical Centre Lagos and developed the department to a level of recognition by the Nigerian Medical Council for the training of house officers in 1995. He was the Director of clinical services of the same hospital, and held other administrative offices of trust while there.

He is a member of the Association of the Paediatric Surgeons of Nigeria.

He is a very experienced surgeon an has an immense interest in ‘good doctoring’ and in mechanical adventurism.
